For more than 38 years, I have worked in the field of Occupational Safety. Throughout that time, I have dedicated my professional life to one objective:
Eliminating preventable workplace injuries.
Over nearly four decades, I have observed countless approaches to injury management — compliance-driven initiatives, awareness campaigns, incentive programs, and reactive corrective measures. While many of these efforts were well-intentioned, most were designed to reduce injury rates rather than eliminate the conditions and behaviors that produce them.
The result has been incremental improvement — but not elimination.
My perspective has evolved through direct field experience, leadership engagement, and years of teaching regulatory compliance at the highest levels. What became clear to me is this:
Injury prevention strategies that rely solely on rules, policies, or reminders do not fundamentally change behavior.
Elimination requires something deeper.
It requires applying human behavior science to leadership systems, operational decision-making, and cultural reinforcement patterns. It requires moving beyond compliance minimums toward disciplined execution.
For 38 years, I have remained committed to building that discipline — helping organizations shift from managing injuries to eliminating preventable harm.

Throughout my 30 year career in the occupational safety industry, I have intently studied Human Behavior, Business Practices, Training Methodology, Production Methods & Practices, Hiring Practices and the Habits of High Performers.
