Injury Elimination Institute exists for one purpose.
To eliminate preventable workplace injuries.
Yes, we use the word eliminate.
Not reduce.
Not manage.
Not minimize.
Eliminate.
For decades, organizations have accepted injuries as “part of the job.”
We reject that assumption.
Serious injuries are not random events.
They are predictable patterns of behavior, reinforcement, and leadership execution.
And predictable patterns can be interrupted.
Why We Believe Elimination Is Possible
Most safety efforts focus on compliance.
Policies. Procedures. "Training" events.
But compliance alone does not change decision-making under pressure.

Our Founder, TL Peters, is recognized as an expert in OSHA regulatory compliance and has taught for the nation’s leading OSHA Education Center — The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) — since its designation in 2008. He previously taught for the Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), a division of Texas A&M University.
Few professionals understand regulatory requirements more thoroughly.
And it is precisely because of that expertise that we know something critical:
Compliance alone does not eliminate injuries.

After years of teaching and applying regulatory frameworks across industries, TL Peters recognized that while compliance is essential, it is not sufficient to achieve true injury elimination.
That realization became the foundation of the Injury Elimination Institute.
